Following her recent donation of a painting to the prestigious event the Pink Ice Ball, raising over £3000 for Cancer Research, fine artist Annabel de Vetten has kindly offered to continue her support of the charity after recently being touched by cancer through a number of close friends. Gina Symmons, founder of the Pink Ice Ball, received the Volunteer of the Year award at the 2006 Flame of Hope Awards – an award to celebrate the outstanding contribution, commitment and success of a volunteer. The award recognised Gina’s hard work in organising the Pink Ice Ball and the money raised for Cancer Research UK. |
