The Pink Ice Ball is a charity ball aimed at raising funds for Cancer Research UK. The event is organised by Gina Symmons who has been diagnosed with breast cancer three times since 1999.

Since 2002 Gina's energy and determination has ensured that the Pink Ice Ball is a great success in raising money and the evening is now renowned as being one of the most glamorous nights of the year.
The 2005 ball, held at The Dorchester Hotel, raised over £89,000 and was supported by a number of celebrities including Liberty X, Kirsty Allsopp and Dannii Minogue who enabled Gina to correspond with her sister Kylie as a fellow breast cancer patient. At the ball Dannii read aloud Kylie’s first public announcement on her cancer and raised a tremendous amount of awareness on the issue and work of Cancer Research UK.

Previous guests at the Pink Ice Ball have included stars from TV, film, music and the catwalk. The ‘coolest event in town’ is now regarded as one of the events that celebrities are willing to clear their schedule to attend and assist in raising money for such a worthy cause.
